New Painting

Ok so a few weeks ago at my art class, I finished another "Melvin Master Copy" painting..this time it's "The Scream! Melvin"!

I'm currently working on a new Master copy with Melvin in it, but this time it's not a painting...and it's costing me "an arm and a leg"..hint hint ;P

So for my Web Design class, i had to make a "product order form", so i made a FAKE (you can't actually buy stuff) shop with Melvin Merchandise! You can't see results when you hit submit without a password, but it's still fun to look at..in my opinion..

T Shirt!!

so i made this a couple months ago.actually..yea a couple months ago..and nobodys really shown any interest in buying one, so.. :( so much for starting a business...aanyway, after the first time it was washed the ironed on part (Melvin) was kinda crusty and some of it came off in the wash...i guess thats what i get for not "cold-washing" it like it said to in the directions..oh well..i got 9 more sheets, and a whole bunch of plain white tees available at stores near me :P next we have...:

Ceramic Wii-playing Melvin!!

this was done in my 3d art class..yes, he's playing with a wii remote/wiimote..lol..it took a while to figure out what pose to make him in, sculpt him, let him harden, fire him, glaze him, fire him again, and then BAM! Ceramic-shiny-wii-playing-Melvin on a bean bag chair!

As im typing this im listening to "We didnt start the fire" by Billy joel..great song :) but anyways, i mention this cuz, well 1), i'm learning about almost every single thing mentioned in the song, in school currently, and 2), ive been working on an animation since december that includes this song, and its gonna be..cool. I've put alot of effort into it, and while some people may think "google image"-ing isnt tough, try sync up pictures near-perfectly to the song..but its not all just google images..theres also some bits of melvin-imation in it..now if i cud be motivated enough to finish it :P cuz...im really close to finishing, and..yea thats about it...

So I guess the window for uploading pictures was open the whole time when i was typing the last post, but it was just minimized..lol. ok. so...pictures!

New Melvin Prototype!!

Well I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I figure nobody reads this blog anyway, so...yea...anyways, I figured I might as well post some pictures of the Melvin Sample/Prototype from China..The first one was terrible, so they made a second one, which is this one:

...ok nevermind..the pictures couldnt be uploaded..maybe some other----NEVERMIND that again!! looks like they were uploaded!! cool...so, apparently they made a 3rd one, which my uncle was supposed to get pictures of from them, but he's been on his honeymoon (Go Mike! :) , so hopefully I'll get them soon..and I guess there was some holiday in China..again..so that slowed things down a bit..but I think by now they are in production once again, and hopefully I will get them delivered to my door around..mid-may..Even though almost nobody probably reads this, ..(so why am I even typing this??) I find it easier to organize my thoughts and stuff when I figure out a way to put it into words..I'm a visual learner...so, yea, Melvin plushes......oh right. I also made a Melvin Tshirt:

...and apparently the picture-uploader doesnt work at the moment. Sorry! So hopefully I'lll upload that at a later date..So, plush, T-shirt, what else..Oh, and also, in my art class I made a ceramic sculpture of Melvin, glazed and all..and stuff..and is the pic-uploader working?....no..its not..aand, one more thing. I also made a large painting of...Napolean Melvin! Like the famous painting of Nap on a horse, but as Melvin! also, to catch up with today's fast-paced society/crowd, you can befriend Melvin on Facebook, follow him on twitter, or check out his (mine) Youtube Channel!! With lots of ..cool videos, lots of animations, some real-life stuff, and more! Ive only got an average of like30-40 something views per video,...wait, why am i putting this on here? nobody reads this blog? if thats so, then Ive just waisted the last 9 minutes..oh well...well thats pretty much it..I'll have to try to upload the pictures sometime in the future..unless i forget about this blog and wait another 6 months :P so in the meantime, if anybody wants to buy a melvin---PREORDER a Melvin plush, theyre $10, 9 1/2 inches tall, and....I'd like to say good quality, but, theyre from china, so..jkjk I have nothing against the Chinese, I'm sure theyre great people hard at work, who like taking a "wok". Get it? Wok? thats why theyre so skinny? Cuz theyre always "woking"....? eghh...attempt at humor..so to wrap things up, Preorder plush, later upload pics, check out twitter/facebook/youtube/myspace...just kidding. nobody uses myspace anymore.do they? so maybe, as a last note, after a while, oh and i forgot to mention, theyre making 500 now, not 750..which i guess i never mentioned in the 1st place, so i guess its alright..oh yeah, my last note..so, after all the people who want to buy one hav bought one, I figure I'd have to find other ways to sell Melvin plushes, so I might put them on ebay..for $10..or,,.o that wud cool, just to like put the melvin plushes on ebay and see how high people bid on them for..but i shud only put like 3 at a time so not everybody is gonna be bidding on their own..wait, why am i explainging all this? i dont want people to steal my idea! oh wait, nobody reads this blog..well if anybdoy does, i hope its not anyone who is greedy and tries to steal Melvin.
